Next Seasons Under 10s Are Looking For New Players

After the success of our Under 9s team this season we are going to have two Under 10s teams next season. This means we have some places for new players.

2007-08 Club Presentation Night - Friday 30th may

Bracknell Sports Centre has once again been booked for our end-of-season presentation evening. The date of the event is Friday 30th may. Doors open at 7:00pm and the presentations will start at 7:30pm.

All BCFC registered players for 2007-08 are invited along with their parents or guardians.

On the evening, each player will receive an individual award as well as finding out who will win the team awards for Managers Player, Players Player and Most Improved Player.

Bracknell Cavaliers Committee and Managers/Coaches look forward to your attendance on the evening.

Six-a-side Tournament - 12th to 13th April 2008

Thank you to all the teams that entered our Six-a-side Tournament this weekend.

The quality of football continues to improve every year and was a joy to watch. It was also great to see such sporting behavior from the players and supporters alike to make the tournament enjoyable for everyone.

We look forward to seeing you all next year.

Under 9 & 10s Tournament Affected By The Snow - 6th April 2008

If you are a child then Sunday was one of the best days of the year so far. Playing in the snow is great fun... unless you are hoping to play in a football tournament.



It was a real shame that we had to disappoint all the under 9 and 10s teams on Sunday because of the 3 inches of snow that fell on St. Sebastian's just after we finished setting up for our popular tournament.

We apologise for having to cancel at the last moment and look forward to seeing all the teams next time.

Under 10s Sporting Their New Training Jackets Sponsored by Charles Church

National homes builder Charles Church have generously contributed funds to the Under 10s team so they can buy new squad training jackets.

Nigel Houston, the U10s manager, is very pleased with the new jackets as are all of the players.

Under 11s Look Great in Their New Sponsored Team Jackets

Local builders Nigel Jackson of N Jackson Carpentry and Tommy Eccles of Tae Builders kindly sponsored Bracknell Cavaliers FC U11s to enable the team to benefit from new team jackets with individual squad numbers, that not only look stylish, but will keep everyone warm and dry throughout the season.

Mike Clother, the U11s manager said "The sponsors will be keeping a close eye on team performance over the coming months and will be awarding a trophy to their 'Player of the Year' at the end of the season."
